Engineering Prof Gives BioTech Keynote Address
 SAN LUIS OBISPO -- Cal Poly Engineering Professor and USC Professor Emeritus George Bekey, Ph.D., was one of two keynote speakers at the Ninth SoCalBio Investor Conference.
The annual event showcases emerging life-science technologies and companies from Los Angeles County, Orange County, the Gold Coast, and Inland Empire.Professor Bekey, who taught at USC before joining the Cal Poly faculty, discussed future applications of robotics in medicine.
