Cal Poly’s 15th Annual CultureFest Set for Oct. 14

SAN LUIS OBISPO – Cal Poly’s MultiCultural Center and Student Life & Leadership will host the 15th annual CultureFest from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at San Luis Obispo’s Mitchell Park, showcasing the cultural diversity within the university and San Luis Obispo community.

This annual festival celebrates and advocates cultural diversity through student displays, performances, music, food and more. This year’s theme is “Cultivating Culture.”

This free, family-friendly event also features a children’s area with games and crafts.

The Multicultural Center promotes a campuswide community that represents and celebrates the diversity of Cal Poly’s student body. It aims to empower students with the resources, skills and opportunities necessary for academic achievement, leadership development and purposeful civic engagement while providing them with a safe and welcoming home away from home.
