Ann Coulter to Speak Feb. 28 at Cal Poly

SAN LUIS OBISPO – Cal Poly College Republicans will host conservative author and activist Ann Coulter in the University Union, Chumash Auditorium from 7 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 28. The event is free and open to the public.

Coulter will give a speech titled “Demonic: How the Liberal Mob is Endangering America.” A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

Coulter is the author of seven New York Times bestsellers, including “Guilty: Liberal Victims and Their Assault on America,” “If Democrats Had Any Brains, They'd Be Republicans,” “Godless: The Church of Liberalism,” “How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must),” “Treason: Liberal Treachery From the Cold War to the War on Terrorism,” “Slander: Liberal Lies About the American Right,” and “High Crimes and Misdemeanors: The Case Against Bill Clinton.”

Coulter graduated with honors from Cornell University School of Arts & Sciences and received her juris doctor degree from University of Michigan Law School. She later became a litigator with the Center for Individual Rights in Washington, D.C.

Those planning to attend are strongly encouraged to obtain tickets in advance. Tickets are free and will be available to students during the UU Hour the week before the event. Also, a limited number of tickets will be available free to members of the public at the following locations:
