Cal Poly MultiCultural Center Presents Latino Heritage Fashion Show Oct. 27
SAN LUIS OBISPO – Cal Poly’s MultiCultural Center and Student Life and Leadership will present a Latino-inspired fashion show in celebration of Latino Heritage Month on Wednesday, Oct. 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. in UU 220.
Latin American countries celebrate independence during of September and October. See how Cal Poly celebrates its first ever Fashion Show. Traditional clothing from Mexico, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Puerto Rico will be showcased. There will be great music, food and clothes.
The Multicultural Center cultivates a campuswide community that represents and celebrates the diversity of Cal Poly’s student body. It is our mission to empower our students with the resources, skills and opportunities necessary for academic achievement, leadership development and purposeful civic engagement while providing them with a safe and welcoming home away from home.
