Cal Poly reKinetic Exhibit Explores Architecture and Art April 15 – June 6

SAN LUIS OBISPO – Cal Poly will host reKinetic, a collaborative exhibition that explores kinetic themes in architecture and art, April 15 – June 6 in the Robert E. Kennedy Library Learning Commons. The exhibition is free and open to the public during regular library hours.

The exhibit is a group installation featuring the works of Cal Poly students and faculty and local community members. The works incorporate reclaimed materials to create innovative installations and sculptures that respond to their environment either by human interaction, internal mechanisms or natural elements. Visitors will be able view and interact with the displays.

Cal Poly Architecture Professor Thomas Fowler and Kennedy Library staff created the event. Artists include Cal Poly architecture students, Cal Poly Art and Design Professor Brian Priest, Mignon Khargie and Jim Jacobson.
