Cal Poly Graphic Communication Institute Offers September Workshops
SAN LUIS OBISPO – Cal Poly’s Graphic Communication Institute is offering four workshops on Saturdays in September for professionals or anyone interested in sharpening their print, web and multimedia software and design skills.
Topics for the events are “Photoshop: Basic Production for Web and Print,” “InDesign CS5 Jumpstart,” “Deconstructing Web Pages”, and “E-books and Digital Publishing.” Workshops are either one-day events or offered on two consecutive Saturdays.
Brian Lawler, Lorraine Donegan and Ken Rothmuller, faculty from the Graphic Communication Department, and well-known industry expert Hal Hinderliter are teaching the workshops.
Registration is $195 for each workshop, with a 10 percent discount for registering for more than one. The workshops are open to the public.
The Graphic Communication Institute at Cal Poly is an outreach effort of the university’s Graphic Communication Department, created to provide industry professionals with access to Cal Poly’s state-of-the-art resources.
