Cal Poly to Host PCPA Casting Director for Master Class May 11
SAN LUIS OBISPO – Erik Stein, casting director for Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts (PCPA), will present a vocal master class at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, in Room 218 of the Davidson Music Center on campus.
During the class, several of the Cal Poly Music Department’s leading voice students will perform and be critiqued on their performance. The public is welcome.
PCPA is well known for its professional and entertaining performances on the Allan Hancock College campus in Santa Maria and at the Solvang Theatre during summer months. PCPA is a training program that specializes in helping singers prepare for careers in musical theatre performance, direction and stage craft.
The free master class is made possible by Cal Poly’s Opera Workshop and is sponsored by the Cal Poly Music Department, College of Liberal Arts and Instructionally Related Activities program.
