Cal Poly Hosts Head of UCLA Voice Department for Master Class Oct. 13
SAN LUIS OBISPO – UCLA Voice Department Chair Juliana Gondek will present a vocal master class at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, in Room 218 of the Davidson Music Center on campus.
During the class, six of Cal Poly Music Department’s leading voice students will perform and be critiqued on their performance. The public is welcome to attend the performance.
Gondek, a native of Pasadena, California, has an international operatic, symphonic, chamber, recital and recording career. She is renowned for her interpretations of Mozart, baroque, bel canto and contemporary repertoire.
The master class is made possible by Cal Poly’s Opera Workshop, and is sponsored by the Cal Poly Music Department, College of Liberal Arts and Instructionally Related Activities program. For more information, call the Music Department at 756-2406.
