Cal Poly Career Services to Host Resume and Job Search Workshop for the San Luis Obispo Community on March 20

SAN LUIS OBISPO - Cal Poly’s Career Services office will host a free resume and job search workshop Friday, March 20, for San Luis Obispo area residents.

The event, set to run 9 to 11 a.m. at Career Services in Building 124, is aimed at local residents affected by recent business closures and/or the downturn in the economy.

Participants will receive individual assistance on a first come, first served basis. Ccoffee and pastries will be provided.

Sponsored guest parking permits will be available for all participants at the H1 Parking Lot, located off Highland Drive on Mount Bishop Road. Shuttle service will be provided from the H1 lot to Career Services throughout the event, from 8:30 to 11:30 am.

Career Services is a department in Cal Poly’s Student Affairs Division that assists students in exploring, formulating and implementing career plans.
