Nearly 9,000 Alumni Now in PolyLink - Cal Poly's Online Community
SAN LUIS OBISPO -- PolyLink, Cal Poly's Online Community, is celebrating its first birthday this month. Cal Poly launched PolyLink in September, 2007 at www.calpolylink.com.
During the first year, more than 8,300 alumni logged in to PolyLink -- the making PolyLink THE best place to connect with Cal Poly alumni online.
On Sept. 17, in response to a call to celebrate PolyLink - some 578 alumni logged in and became new PolyLink members! As of Sept. 19, there are 8,878 alumni have become a part of PolyLink.
PolyLink now includes alumni from the Class of 1948 through the Class of 2008.
More than 1,000 PolyLink alumni volunteered to mentor new grads and alumni online via PolyLink. And more than 500 alumni have uploaded photos of your family, friends and 'back in the day' shots.
