May 8, 2008 Contact: Bill Saylor Ninth Annual Mustang Madness Dinner and Auction is May 31SAN LUIS OBISPO- Cal Poly Athletics will host its ninth annual Mustang Madness dinner and auction Saturday, May 31 to raise money for scholarships for student athletes. This year’s event, “El Dorado Nights,” will feature a gourmet dinner by Ian McPhee of McPhee’s Grill and wines from Vina Robles Winery. There will be a silent and live auction featuring items including a private tour and picnic at Hearst Castle, a seven-day trip to Puerto Vallarta, and a private tour of Camp Roberts in a Bradley fighting vehicle. Proceeds from the evening will go towards building scholarships for student athletes, recruiting new student athletes, and improving Mustang athletics. “El Dorado Nights” begins at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 31, in Mott Gym.
