Cal Poly Students Celebrate Cultural Diversity in Mission Plaza Oct. 21

SAN LUIS OBISPO – More than 20 Cal Poly cultural student organizations will show pride in their heritages at Culturefest on Sunday, Oct. 21, 1 to 5 p.m. at Mission Plaza.

Sponsored by the Multicultural Center and Student Life and Leadership, the festival is a free, family-friendly event filled with live performances by community and campus organizations, a diverse array of freshly cooked foods, and many other activities.

Celebrating its 10th year, Culturefest is a student run event that aims to spread cultural awareness and promote cultural appreciation. This year’s theme is “A Decade of Discovery.” Culturefest will take place rain or shine.
