Poinsettias, Mistletoe and More on Sale During Poly Plant Shop Holiday Open House Dec. 1-2

SAN LUIS OBISPO -- Poinsettias, fresh and artificial centerpieces, wreaths, fresh mistletoe and much more will be available during the Poly Plant Shop’s annual Holiday Open House from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1-2.

Proceeds from the event help support the Horticulture and Crop Science Department, student enterprise projects, and the Floral Design Club.

In addition to the plant sale, this year’s fundraiser will feature a variety of presentations, including Christmas cookie decorating tips, a rose pruning demonstration, and floral design demonstrations.

The Holiday Open House is the senior project of journalism senior Nicolette Lynch and junior Shannon Carlisle. “We want the Holiday Open House to be an experience for the customers,” said Carlisle.
