Cal Poly to Hold Public Forum on Middle East Peace Process March 12
SAN LUIS OBISPO – UC Berkeley Professor Beshara Doumani will hold an open public forum on the Middle East peace process from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 12, in the Business Building Rotunda (Room 213) at Cal Poly.
Doumani will present “Peace or Violence: Palestine/Israel after Oslo,” focusing on historical experiences and future prospects for peace.
Doumani is a professor of history at Berkeley. He has published several books and articles on the history and politics of the Middle East with a focus on Palestinian social history and political economy.
