Cal Poly University Art Gallery to Showcase ‘ReUnion’ Exhibit Nov. 3-Dec. 2

SAN LUIS OBISPO -- Cal Poly’s University Art Gallery will present “ReUnion,” an exhibit showcasing a unique and colorful collection of art from Friday, Nov. 3, through Saturday, Dec. 2.

The featured artists are husband and wife Dane Goodman and Marie Schoeff. “They use a diverse range of media, from paint and pastel to soap and pillow cases, to explore creative expression formally,” said Art and Design Professor Mary LaPorte.

The exhibit kicks off Nov. 3 with an artists’ talk at 5 p.m. in Room 227 in the Dexter Building, followed by a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. in the University Art Gallery, also in the Dexter Building.

The artists live in Santa Barbara and have exhibited extensively throughout the United States. Their works are in public and private collections, and they've received numerous awards, fellowships, and honors as artists-in-residence.

Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 7 to 9 p.m.  Wednesday. Admission is free.

“ReUnion” is sponsored in collaboration with the Art and Design Department, Cal Poly Arts, the College of Liberal Arts, and Instructionally Related Activities.
