Music Performer Baaba Maal Cancels April Cal Poly Concert Performance

SAN LUIS OBISPO – Cal Poly Arts regretfully announced that the April 27, 2007 BAABA MAAL concert has been cancelled.

The Sengalese artist is in London receiving treatment for a pulmonary infection and has been advised to cancel all engagements through 2007 to allow for an extended recuperation period. It's reported that Maal is responding well to treatment and is expected
to make a complete recovery.

The Performing Arts Center Ticket Office will offer full refunds, including the $3.00/ticket surcharge and handling fees, for all walk-up and mail order purchases.

As stipulated on the pacslo.org purchasing website, the Box Office is
unable to refund the facility surcharge and web handling fees for online
orders.

To receive a refund, patrons must bring in or mail the actual tickets to
the Performing Arts Center Ticket Office on the Cal Poly campus, One
Grand Avenue, San Luis Obispo, CA 93407.

Ticket Office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and
Saturday, 10 am to 2 pm.

Patrons will be asked to provide their account information if tickets
were purchased using a credit card.

If tickets were purchased via cash or check, a refund check will be
mailed to them after the tickets have been returned. A credit may be
issued to your credit card account (upon request and with the
appropriate information provided).

No cash refunds will be issued. Cal Poly Arts apologizes for the inconvenience.
