‘See the Need Week’ at Cal Poly Nov. 13-18

SAN LUIS OBISPO – Cal Poly’s Student Community Services is sponsoring several events for See the Need Week, Nov. 13-18, designed to raise awareness about world hunger.

Hunger Dinner Benefit: Wednesday Nov. 15, 6-8 p.m., Performing Arts Center Pavilion. Dinner will be accompanied by a presentation about how to get involved in the fight against world hunger. Tickets are $5 and are available in the Student Community Services office, University Union, Room 217, and at the door.

Food Drive: Saturday Nov. 18, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Community members are encouraged to put non-perishable food donations in marked bins at retail stores throughout San Luis Obispo.
