Cal Poly Offers MCAT Review Course for Med School Hopefuls

SAN LUIS OBISPO – Cal Poly Continuing Education and University Outreach is offering a Medical College Admission Test review course, designed to provide the information necessary for success on the examination. The course will be led by Michael Black, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Biological Sciences Department at Cal Poly. Faculty from chemistry, physics and biology departments will review the content, format and structure of the examination.

The course includes practice examinations provided by the American Association of Medical Colleges and concludes one week before the spring MCAT test date.

The course (NCR 9354) consists of 24 meetings, from Jan. 2-April 5, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6 to 9 p.m. on the Cal Poly campus. The fee is $1,045.
