Cal Poly Clubs Sponsor Free Film Series on Media and War May 10-31

SAN LUIS OBISPO -- Cal Poly's Progressive Student Alliance, the Muslim Student Association and Poly Greens are sponsoring a free film and discussion series on war and the media from May 10-31.

The series of four documentary film screenings will each be followed by a discussion session moderated by Cal Poly History Professor Manzar Foroohar.

All the events are free and open to the public. Screenings will be held in the Performing Arts Center's Philips Hall (Building 6, Room 126) Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m.

Films scheduled are:

May 10: "Weapons of Mass Deception"
May 17: "Uncovered: The War in Iraq"
May 24: "Peace, Propaganda & the Promised Land"
May 31: "Gaza Strip"
