ASI Events Presents Sherwood CD Release Party May 23
SAN LUIS OBISPO -- Associated Students, Inc. Events presents San Luis Obispo-based Sherwood CD release party in Chumash Auditorium, Monday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m.
Celebrate with Sherwood as it launches its newest CD, “Sing, But Keep Going.” The album will be available for purchase at the event a week before its release in stores on May 31.
“Simply put, Sherwood creates great pop music,” Gina Knox, student supervisor of concerts, said. “The CD is perfect for summertime and we’re excited people in our area have the chance to buy it before it’s released in stores.”
At the CD release party, Sherwood will play songs from its new CD, as well as old favorites. Fans of emo-rock will really enjoy what Sherwood has to offer, Knox said. The band’s sophomore album follows close behind its self-titled debut EP released in October 2004. The concert will end with an autograph signing session.
The event is open to all and admission is free. Doors open at 7 p.m. Seating is limited and entry will be on a first come, first served basis.
