Cal Poly Offers Special Campus Tours
for Visitors, Parents, New Students through March

SAN LUIS OBISPO -- To accommodate the thousands of visitors expected on
campus during the traditional high school spring break weeks in March,
Cal Poly will offer an expanded tour and visitor services schedule.

During the weeks of March 21-25 (Cal Poly’s own quarter break) and March
28-April 1 (with the exception of Thursday, March 31 when the campus
will be closed for Cesar Chavez Day), campus tours will be given at
10:10 a.m. and 2:10 p.m. every weekday.

For those two weeks only, the tours, which last approximately 90
minutes, will leave from Chumash Auditorium.

Special visitor parking for the week of March 28-April 1 (the first week
of Cal Poly’s spring quarter) will be available at the Recreational
Sports Complex off of Via Carta. Visitors should take Highway 1 to the
Highland Drive entrance to campus, continue on Highland to Via Carta,
and turn left at Via Carta. Follow signs to visitor parking areas.

During March, Cal Poly is also offering special admissions information
sessions, tours of the residence halls, and, on selected days,
specialized tours of the College of Engineering.

Visit the Cal Poly website (www.calpoly.edu). Look for the “Visitors”
link in the upper left-hand corner; click on the “Visitors,” then
“Campus and Community Tours” and then “Guided Tours” links for a
complete schedule, tour registration, and further information.
