Holding Surplus Auction July 21-23
SAN LUIS OBISPO -- The Cal Poly Horticulture and Crop Science Department will hold a public auction of surplus property on campus July 21-23, including more than 200 items -- everything from computer monitors to chainsaws to lawnmowers to rakes to sprinkler heads to microscopes.
The auction will take place at the Horticulture and Crop Science Horticulture Unit, Building 48. All items will be on display between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. and can be inspected and bid on July 12-23. Participants can submit a sealed bid on items of interest. Successful bidders will be notified July 25.
All sales are final and items are being sold as is, under no warranty or guarantee, and bidders are responsible for pickup of items. A full list of items up for auction can be found on the Poly Plant Shop Web site at www.polyplantshop.com.
To get to the Horticulture Unit, take the Highland Drive entrance to campus. Turn left at the stop sign on Via Carta; park in the Poly Plant Shop parking lot, across from the Horse Unit. Metered parking is available.
