As vice president, Smith Andersen coordinates the organization’s membership recruiting activities, creates and maintains membership records, and reports on matters regarding credentialing.
“Peggy is highly regarded by her colleagues across the university for her in-depth knowledge of the changing credentialing regulations,” said Associate Dean Carl Brown. “I am delighted to have Cal Poly’s College of Education represented in the statewide credentials network.”
Smith Andersen will attend the meetings of the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and keep campus officials and the Credential Counselors and Analysts of California updated on decisions governing credentialing rules and regulations.
