Cal Poly Pride Alliance Hosts Film Screening April 11
SAN LUIS OBISPO -- The Cal Poly Pride Alliance-LGBT Center is sponsoring a free film screening of the documentary, "Surviving Friendly Fire," on Monday, April 11, as part of the university's Homelessness Awareness Week.
The film focuses on the experiences of 10 lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth, who share their experiences on the streets of Hollywood. The documentary won the Award of Merit at the San Luis Obispo Film Festival.
The film screening will begin at 8:30 p.m. in Room 124 of the Performing Arts Center, and the public is invited. Parking is available in the Performing Arts Center parking garage with purchase of a day pass, available at campus entrances.
