Cal Poly Biological Sciences Department Hosts Third Annual Environmental Symposium 

SAN LUIS OBISPO - The Third Annual Environmental Career Symposium and Reception will be held in the Chumash Auditorium April 14 from 4:15 - 7:30 p.m. The symposium is free and open to the public.

Featured speakers from the environmental field include Land Conservancy; EcoSLO; USGS; San Luis Sustainablity Group; Center of Biological Diversity ; US Forest Service; Coyote Roads Outdoor School ; NOAA; California State Parks ; and the Regional Water Quality Board.

Panelists will give presentations about their organization, how they prepared to work in their current field, what their work entails, and how they feel their career impacts the environment on a daily basis. The informational panel will last approximately 90 minutes and will be followed by a question and answer period. Following the panel discussion, a networking reception will give guests the opportunity to speak directly to the industry experts. Organic refreshments will be provided by New Frontiers.
