The 2004 Baker Forum
The April 2-3, 2004 Baker Forum brought together leaders from education, industry and government for conversation on the theme, “Expanding the Pathways to Science and Engineering Careers: Exploring the multiple roles that industry and higher education can play in support of Pre-School – 12th grade science and mathematics education.”
William C. Harris, Director General, Science Foundation Ireland, delivered the 2004 Baker Forum Keynote Address, “Learn or Lose: U.S. Education Threatens Economic Prosperity.”

Wiley Lifetime Achievement Award
The Wiley Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored by John Wiley and Sons, Inc., recognizes distinguished achievements in higher education and public life. It was conferred upon Dr. William C.
