Associated Students Inc., Student Government Open UU Plaza
To Host Campaign Tables Through November 1

SAN LUIS OBISPO -- In the spirit of political discussion and access to information, Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) Student Government is offering hosting space in the Julian A. McPhee University
Union Plaza to all registered candidates in the 2004 election for the distribution of political materials to Cal Poly students and other campus constituents.

The UU Plaza will be available between Oct. 7-Nov. 1 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for this purpose. No exceptions will be made.

Interested parties must contact Denise Lazar in the UU Epicenter at (805) 756-2325 or Stacey Valdez at (805) 756-5213 to register for a space in the plaza at least 24 hours prior to arrival.All spaces are contingent upon availability. One table and two chairs per candidate can be reserved on a first come first serve basis.

All collateral materials to be distributed must be viewed by the ASI Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator Michelle Broom a minimum of 24 hours prior to occupying the plaza. Mail or drop off a sample of the proposed materials to University Union, Room 212, Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA 93407.

All plaza users must adhere to university and ASI policies. The staff in the UU Epicenter is available to assist with questions and minor set up if needed.
