Fraternity-Sorority Powder-puff Tournament Benefits Alzheimer's Association
SAN LUIS OBISPO -- Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity presents its 14th annual Powder-puff Tournament to benefit the Ronald Reagan Alzheimer's Association on Saturday, Nov. 20, at Meadow Park on South Street in San Luis Obispo.
The event begins at 10 a.m. with games continuing through the afternoon and features powder-puff cheer squads and sorority football teams.
Cal Poly sororities Alpha Phi, Sigma Kappa, Kappa Alpha Theta, Alpha Chi Omega, Delta Delta Delta, Gamma Phi Beta and Alpha Omicron Pi will battle it out in a flag football tournament to help raise money to help find a cure for Alzheimer's.
About Tau Kappa Epsilon
Tau Kappa Epsilon (Teke) is a national social fraternity with a
local chapter at Cal Poly. Ronald Reagan is a Teke alumni and the
national fraternity is committed to helping his Alzheimer's Association.
Since its founding, the Cal Poly chapter has organized 14 tournaments
and raised thousands of dollars to help the association's goal to
find a cure.
