Cal Poly Alumnus To present 'Actor's View of L.A.' Workshop Nov. 13
SAN LUIS OBISPO - Cal Poly alumnus Aaron MacPherson will present a workshop for aspiring actors titled "An Actor's View of L.A." from noon to 4 p. m. Saturday, Nov. 13, in Room 212 of the Davidson Music Center at Cal Poly.
At the workshop, MacPherson will talk about his professional experiences in Los Angeles and lead acting exercises involving "intentions and biography," said Al Schnupp, a faculty member in Cal Poly's Theatre and Dance Department.
After graduating from Cal Poly with a degree in political science, MacPherson attended the California Institute of the Arts, where he earned a Master of Fine Arts degree. He has since appeared in numerous film, television and theater productions.
His film credits include "Cruel Intentions 3," "Colorado Cowboy," "Pledge," and "Dead by Perfect." He guest starred on television in "Thunder in Paradise" and "West."
His extensive theater credits include performances at the Manhattan Playhouse, the Actors Lab, Hollywood Court Theatre, the Playwrights Arena, the Center Theatre and MaCadden Place Theatre.
