Cal Poly Choral Program To Present ‘Spring Cabaret’ May 29
SAN LUIS OBISPO -- The Cal Poly Choral Program will present “A
Spring
Cabaret” benefit concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 29, in the newly
dedicated Alex and Faye Spanos Theatre (formerly the Cal Poly Theatre).
The concert was just added to the Choral Program’s season of events.
The
program will include Cal Poly's a cappella ensembles, including the
barbershop quartets Here Comes Treble and Men-So Forte. The vocal
ensembles Black Sheep and Take It SLO will also perform.
The performance is a fund-raiser for the Cal Poly choirs. A silent
auction will be held during intermission and following the concert.
Tickets to the concert are $10 and can be bought at the Performing Arts
Ticket Office 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturdays.
“A Spring Cabaret” is sponsored by Cal Poly’s Music
Department, College
of Liberal Arts and Instructionally Related Activities program. For more
