Television Comedic Star Mitch Fatel Comes to Cal Poly March 4

SAN LUIS OBISPO -- Comedian Mitch Fatel will perform in Cal Poly’s
Chumash Auditorium at 8 p.m. March 4 in an appearance sponsored
by Associated Students Inc. Events.

Fatel has been showcasing his talent to rave reviews for the past 10
years. With his innocence and friendly demeanor he quickly engages the
audience and then catches them off guard with a mixture of mischievous
dialogue and off-color comments. His numerous television
appearances include CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," NBC's "The
Tonight Show with Jay Leno," and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien."

Airing this past year were Fatel's highly amusing pieces as a
correspondent on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" interviewing both
Super Bowl teams and Shania Twain, while also portraying a cartoon
character on Comedy Central's "Dr. Katz" on two separate occasions.
Fatel will be making his second appearance this year at the Montreal
Just for Laughs festival and has a new CD entitled "Doesn't Play Well
With Others."

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Space is limited and entry will be on a first
come, first served basis. Students with a Cal Poly ID are free, and
general admission is $5 at the door.
