Cal Poly Invites Community to 64th Annual Rodeo
SAN LUIS OBISPO – Cal Poly’s Open House will once again feature
the
annual Poly Royal Rodeo April 16, 17 and 18.
The competition features college-age cowboys and cowgirls from across
the West competing for silver buckles and all-around saddles.
Performances will be at 4:30 p.m. April 16, 5 p.m. April 17 and 1 p.m.
April 18. Tickets are $5 for students, seniors and children ages 5 and
under and $8 for adults. Tickets may be purchased at the gate of the Cal
Poly Rodeo Arena off Mt. Bishop Road.
Rodeo events include bull riding, saddle-bronc riding, bareback riding,
steer wrestling, barrel racing, team roping, breakaway roping and calf
roping.
