What's Wrong With This Picture?
The Answer...
If you have ever experienced the fun of logarithms, you would immediately see that equations 2, 3 and 4 are wrong.
Stu Goldenberg, professor emeritus of Cal Poly mathematics, immediately pointed out the following corrections to the group of humbled liberal arts majors at the Public Affairs Office, who in turn alerted the stock art company where the photo originated:
Equation 2 should be log (A/B) or a division sign between the A and B, but not an equal sign.
Equation 3 should have the lower case n as a superscript and not a subscript on the left side of the equation.
Equation 4 also has similar difficulties, the left side should be log subscript b a.
